Making a strong offer....


 Once you find the home you have dreamed of, it is necessary to make your first offer a STRONG one. You don't want any hiccups along the way so it is imperative that you know your price range before you go out to look at homes. Your Realtor can make sure that you meet with a qualified professional in the mortgage field to determine your qualification amount.


  1. ARE YOU QUALIFIED FOR YOUR DREAM HOME- It is exciting to go house hunting! The mortgage process is not quite as exciting but nevertheless a necessary component in the process. Along with this you need to know your situation and how equipped you are financially to make any necessary repairs (air conditioner, new roof).

  2. YOUR OFFER- Your Realtor is going to guide you through this process. Make sure they are knowledgeable of the area and the comparables (Not Zestimates). They will know the residential sales market and help you make an offer that will stand. Don't be affraid to use the Earnest money as a negotiating tool.

  3. BE QUICK TO ACT - Once you find that home, you will need to be expedient in your offer. There is not need to worry. You have been wise in deciding to go with a professional. That will save you so much time and result in being productive in acquiring your home.

  4. NEGOTIATING – Since in most cases there is usually a counteroffer, you have no need to worry since you have your Realtor to guide you through this part of buying your home. You know how much you can afford to pay and this is what they do for a living. They have the experience in negotiating and they know what is applicable for the residential area.
