Brentwood Luminaries

Saturday, Dec. 13th

Each year on the second Saturday of December, Brentwood neighborhoods "light up" for a special night of Brentwood Luminaries. Citizens join together and line their neighborhood streets with candles in paper bags to create a beautiful glow for those driving through viewing Christmas lights and decorations.

Some participating subdivisions planning to decorate with lights and luminaries include: Woodway, Heathrow Hills, Brentwood Country Club, Lansdowne, Brentmeade, Foxboro, Chenoweth, Liberty Downs, Raintree Forest, Green Hills Boulevard, McGavock Farms, Belle Rive and Carondelet.

Every year, hundreds of volunteers dress in character and transform their church grounds into "the village and outskirts of what Bethlehem may have been like on a smaller scale on the night of the birth of Jesus."

The best place for more information is on their Facebook page.
